Rishtapatrika: frequently asked questions

Marriage Biodata Maker

How is this different from a free biodata template site?

Template sites lay out what you type. We write it: we take your notes in any language and order, fill every standard section, write the About me and family paragraph, phrase partner expectations politely, handle delicate facts carefully and tell you what's missing. Then our free A4 designer puts it on a printable page with your photo - no watermark and no download fee.

Can I download it as a PDF with my photo?

Yes. Below the tool, paste your biodata into the A4 designer, add a photo and pick a design, then press 'Print / Save as PDF' and choose 'Save as PDF' in the print window. The photo stays on your device; it is never uploaded. You can also download the text as a Word file from the result.

Will it make up details to make the biodata look better?

No. It uses only what you write. Where an important field is missing, such as time of birth or a sibling's occupation, it leaves a clear [placeholder] and lists it under 'Before you send' so you can fill it in.

How do I write a biodata after a divorce or for a second marriage?

Choose the marital status. The biodata states it once, plainly - for example 'Divorced (2023), no children' - and, if you give context, adds one calm, forward-looking line in About me. It never blames anyone or over-explains. 'Awaiting divorce' is written as 'Divorce in process', which is what families expect to be told honestly.

Should I include horoscope, gotra, caste or salary?

Only if your family wants to. We include them only when you write them. Many families put rashi, nakshatra, gotra and manglik status on the biodata and share the full kundli on request; others leave them out. Salary is optional - many families write it as an annual figure such as '18 LPA'.

Can I get the biodata in Hindi, Marathi or another language?

Yes - English, Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Punjabi and Urdu, in each language's own script. Choose 'English + Hindi' to get both versions in one go, which is handy when grandparents and the couple read different languages.

What should I not put in a biodata?

Aadhaar or PAN numbers, your full home address, and anything about dowry or gifts expected - giving, taking or demanding dowry is an offence under the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961. If your notes include any of these, we leave them out and tell you why.

What about NRI biodata?

Choose the 'NRI / abroad' style. It adds country and city of residence, citizenship or visa status (only if you give it), whether you are open to relocating, and where the family lives in India, and shows height in both cm and feet.

How much does it cost?

Your first biodata each day is free. After that, ₹99 / $2 buys one more biodata with 3 revisions (for example 'make the About me shorter' or 'add my sister's details'). The A4 designer and PDF are always free. No subscription.
